Dear Mr. Audet, I wanted to take the time to thank you and your staff for the wonderful time Ben had at Camp Kirk. We knew he needed more independence but we struggled with finding a way to provide that independence in a safe setting. Camp Kirk allowed Ben to try new things and to enjoy all the things at which he excels.
When we picked Ben up, his counsellor reported that Ben wanted to live in Cabin 3 forever! Ben is not much of a talker but we know that all of his experiences at Camp Kirk lie within him. His mask and bowl have places of honour in our house and he shines when we play a camp song. Many many thanks to you you and your staff for making Ben's first experience at camp so fantastic. Ben wants to come back for a 2 week session next year and we are thrilled. Sincerely, Sheila
